We do not have a video for changing the display profile of your iPad. That is because at this time, the way iPads connect to video displays is inconsistent. Vintage iPads with less features than iPads with Apple Silicon Processors or iPad Pros do not have “extended desktops” when connected to a projector or monitor. They mirror automatically, and are otherwise unable to extend their desktops to separate displays.
However some iPad Pros or much newer iPads have a rather cumbersome way to change it’s display profile.
If your iPad treats the Projector like a separate display instead of a 1-to-1 presentation device, like in the image below:
Try these instructions to display 1-to-1 content on your iPad to the projection screen:
STEP 1: Go to the “Settings” app on your iPad.
STEP 2: Tap “Multitasking & Gestures” on the left.
STEP 3: In the “Multitasking” area, the current setting will likely be on “External Display” and “Stage Manager” will be checked.
Tap “Screen Mirroring” so that the projection screen will match with the content on your iPad.
To Proceed with the tutorial, press the “Projector Mute” button on the Touch Panel below.
