If you are connected to the AV System, and what’s shown on the projection screen does not match what is showing on your computer, here’s what to do if you are using a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.

On the touch bar, you’ll need to go to the “Control Strip” portion of the Touch Bar which is located on the left side of the Touch Bar. Tap this little arrow by this little sun icon and then the touch panel will expand like this.
Now that the Touch Bar has changed to this, press the command key over here and this icon on the Touch bar, which is the “Dim Brightness” button.

So, as you can see here, pressing command and the “dim brightness” button on the Touch bar, will toggle the display mode of your MacBook Pro from “Mirrored” to “Extended.”
