Screen Mirroring Options for Your Apple MacBook

It is important to determine which display mode your MacBook is using.

Oftentimes when you connect your MacBook to computer monitor or a projector, it treats the projector like a separate device, instead of showing what’s on your desktop.

So in this case, the MacBook that I have connected is extending its display to the projection screen,

instead of mirroring the desktop.

Apple has two different methods of correcting this, depending on what type of keyboard your MacBook has.

So look at the top of your MacBook keyboard.

Does it just have function keys? Like F1, F2, F3 up to F12?

OR

Does it have a touch bar?

To proceed with the tutorial, click on one of the two options that matches your device.
