Presenter View in PowerPoint

A common problem for room users is when they use PowerPoint, the presenter view notes are shown on the projection screen and the slideshow appears on their computer display.

Depending where your cursor is, there are two ways to solve this issue. Please check out the accordion panels below:

This is an accordion element with a series of buttons that open and close related content panels.

SCENARIO #1: Swapping Displays on your Computer Display

If your cursor happens to be on your computer display, move your cursor to the lower left corner of your computer display.

You’ll see some icons that resemble what you see on screen. Select the ellipses.

In the menu that appears, Click “Display Settings” and then select “Swap Presenter View and Slide Show.”

After selecting that option, your presenter view notes should be on your computer display and your slides should be on the projection screen for the students.

SCENARIO #2: Swapping Displays on the Projection Screen

If your cursor is on the projection screen, move your cursor to the top, and select “DISPLAY SETTINGS”

and then select “SWAP PRESENTER VIEW AND SLIDE SHOW.”

Once you select that, your presenter view notes should be on your computer display and your slides should be on the projection screen for the students.

After checking out the accordion panels above, press the “Projector Mute” button on the Touch Panel image below.
