How to use the Microphones

When you are ready to use a microphone, gently unplug the microphone where the white arrows are as pictured below.

To plug them back in, line up the white arrows and plug it back in.

Classrooms are equipped with battery pack style transmitters with lavalier clip on microphones as well as handheld microphones.

Attach the lavalier microphone to your clothing as shown in the photo below.

Once the lavalier is attached, press the power button on the transmitter.

The transmitter can be placed in your pocket or attached to your waist using the belt clip.

Depending on the volume of your voice or speaking style, you’re ready to adjust the volume on the touch panel. You can adjust the microphone volume on the top left area of the touch panel. The volume slider is labelled “MICROPHONE”. Please use the up and down arrows in that area to make the microphone louder or quieter.

When you are done teaching, please plug any microphones back into their charging cable.  Line up the white arrows and gently plug it back in.

In the image below, click one of the Microphone volume buttons to proceed with the tutorial.

This is important information, even if you aren’t a microphone user. If a microphone is not plugged into a charging cable, you won’t be able to log in or log out of the audio visual system. Knowing where the microphones are and how to plug them back in will help fellow instructors use the audio-visual systems without interruptions.
